✏️ Messy Handwriting Camp (Ages 8.5–12.5) A 5-week intensive handwriting camp designed for students ages 8.5–12.5 who struggle with messy or difficult-to-read handwriting. 📅 2 sessions per week ⏱ 70 minutes per session 📚 10 sessions total 🧠 What This Camp Focuses On This intensive program helps improve handwriting by: ✔ Analyzing hand strength & functioning through grasp ✔ Targeting handwriting problem areas in a structured, methodical way ✔ Improving overall legibility & writing confidence ✔ Enhancing reading comprehension abilities ✔ Providing recommendations for helpful accommodations (adapted pencils, specialized paper, etc.) to support success 🏃 Multi-Sensory Learning Approach Each session begins with a sensorimotor obstacle course to help children: • Regulate their bodies • Strengthen muscles used for writing • Improve coordination and motor planning • Enhancing frustration tolerance and team sportsmanship skills Children thrive when learning through movement and multi-sensory experiences, which is why every class incorporates hands-on activities and movement. 👧 Who This Camp Is For This program is appropriate for: ✔ Students ages 8.5–13 ✔ Children currently enrolled in school ✔ Students who struggle with messy handwriting or poor spacing 👩‍🏫 Small Group Structure • 1–4 adults per group (up to 13 students) • Each group is led by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist Note: The therapist is not functioning as any individual child’s private OT provider. ✏️ Curriculum Focus • Problem letters • Spacing between letters within words • Spacing between words within sentences • Proper letter placement on wide-ruled or college-ruled paper • Reading Comprehension • Critical writing skills 📋Camp Schedule 📅 July 1, 2026 – July 30, 2025 🔔Tuesdays & Thursdays ⏰ 4:40 – 5:50 PM 📍 Location: 14471 Chambers Rd. #100, Tustin, CA 92780 💲 Tuition 🚨$150 registration fee 💰 $49.95 per hour ➡️ $58.28 per 70 mins (each class) x 10 total classes 💸 Ways to Save 💳 Pay in full via Zelle — $15 off 👯 Refer a Friend — $25 off ⭐ Leave an honest Yelp or Google 📚A mandatory $30 materials fee will be added to enrollment. 👩‍🏫 Required New Student Screener All new students must complete a mandatory 30-minute screener ($60) prior to the start of camp. If it is determined during the screener that the camp is not an appropriate fit, your $150 registration fee will be refunded minus the $60 screener fee.
