Service Description
βοΈ A 6-week camp designed for children ages 5β8 who struggle with messy or hard-to-read handwriting. π§ What This Camp Focuses On This intensive program helps improve handwriting by: β Hand strength and functioning through grasp & dexterity abilities βTargeting problem areas to improve legibility β Offering recommendations for helpful accommodations π Multi-Sensory Learning Approach Each session begins with a sensorimotor obstacle course to help children: β’ Regulate their bodies β’ Build strength needed for writing β’ Improve coordination β’ Grow in their ability to navigate frustration β’ Foster collaboration and team sportsmanship abilities Children thrive when learning through movement and multi-sensory experiences, so every class incorporates hands-on activities and movement. π§ Who This Camp Is For This program is appropriate for: β Children ages 5β8 β Students currently enrolled in school π©βπ« Small Group Structure β’ Ratio: 1 adult : 4 students (up to 13 students total) β’ Each group is led by a pediatric occupational therapist Note: The therapist is not functioning as any individual childβs private OT provider. π Why This Camp? We target: β’ Problem letters β’ Spacing between letters within words β’ Spacing between words within sentences β’ Proper letter placement on wide-ruled or college-ruled paper π Camp Schedule Tuesdays & Thursdays π June 23 β July 30, 2026 β° 3:30 β 4:30 PM π Twice per week β± 60 minutes per session π Location 14471 Chambers Rd. #100 Tustin, CA 92780 π² Tuition π° $49.95 per hour β’ $150 deposit due at registration β’ Remaining tuition charged at $49.95 per session πΈ Ways to Save π³ Pay in full via Zelle and receive $15 off βRefer a friend ($25 off) πYelp and/or Google Review ($10 off per each honest review) π Materials Fee A mandatory $30 materials fee will be added to enrollment. π Required Screener (New Students) All new students must complete a mandatory 30-minute screener ($60) prior to the start of camp. This ensures the program is the right fit for your child. If the camp is determined not to be an appropriate fit, your $150 deposit will be refunded minus the $60 screener fee.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy T.OT Camps: + Camp bookings may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the camp start date. + Cancellations made within 30 days of the start date will result in forfeiture of the camp deposit, which may be applied to a future camp or session at Ms. Jennellβs discretion and depending on the reason for cancellation. Individual Sessions: + Cancellations require at least 24 hoursβ notice. + Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hoursβ notice will result in the forfeiture of the payment for that session. Important Information: + Ms. Jennell Chang, MA, OTR/L is a licensed/registered occupational therapist using OT-informed strategies to support all learners. She is not operating as anyoneβs private or treating occupational therapist through T.OT programs. + In the event of emergencies (e.g., natural disasters, illness, or quarantine), sessions and camps may transition to distance learning (online classes).
