Service Description
This course is an introduction to academic based fine motor/visual motor skills like: - Uppercase Letter Formation - Lowercase Letter Formation - Intro to Sentence Writing - Intro to Reading Comprehension - Pencil Grasp Development - Cutting with Scissors - Multi-Step Crafts Pre-requisites: * Must be in a daycare or school setting. Every activity is taught with a focus on a multi-sensory approach to learning, starting each session with a whole-body sensorimotor obstacle course! WHO: Appropriate for children (ages 3.5 to 6 years old) who are in school/daycare. - Ratio: 1 -3 Adults to 12 Students - Each group is run by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist. However, Jennell Chang is not operating as any one child's private OT. WHAT: An introduction to handwriting (starting with uppercase letter formation) using the Handwriting Without Tear's Kick Start to Kindergarten curriculum workbook. (8 Sessions | 1 Hour Per Session) WHEN: 6/9/25 to 7/2/25 (Monday & Wednesday) || 1:30 - 2:30 PM (60 Mins) WHERE: 14471 Chambers Rd. #100, Tustin, CA WHY: To set each child up for success by laying strong foundations as they blast off into their academic journey! Rate: $60 per hour. - Cost Breakdown: After the $150 initial deposit at registration, each session will then equate to $47.50 per hour. (3) Yelp and Google Business Review (Returning Parents Only): Inquire via hello@totfinemotor.com IMPORTANT: - Mandatory $30 materials fee. - NEW CAMPERS: Mandatory 30 minute screener ($60) after registration to determine if camps are an appropriate fit. - Ms. Jennell is an occupational therapist, but is not operating as any camper's private OT. - During emergent circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, illness/quarantine), classes may be held online.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy T.OT Camps: + Camp bookings may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the camp start date. + Cancellations made within 30 days of the start date will result in forfeiture of the camp deposit, which may be applied to a future camp or session at Ms. Jennell’s discretion and depending on the reason for cancellation. Individual Sessions: + Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. + Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of the payment for that session. Important Information: + Ms. Jennell Chang, MA, OTR/L is a licensed/registered occupational therapist using OT-informed strategies to support all learners. She is not operating as anyone’s private or treating occupational therapist through T.OT programs. + In the event of emergencies (e.g., natural disasters, illness, or quarantine), sessions and camps may transition to distance learning (online classes).
