✏️ Intro to Handwriting Camp (Ages 3.5–7) Is your child ready to start their writing journey? Or have they already started, but are struggling grasping the skills? This 6-week handwriting camp uses occupational therapy–inspired strategies to help children strengthen the foundational skills needed for clear, confident writing. 🗓 6 Weeks ⏱ 60 Minutes per Session 📍 Tustin, CA 👧 Who This Camp Is For This program is ideal for children: ✔ Ages 3.5 - 7 years old ✔ Currently enrolled in school ✔ Who struggle with messy handwriting or poor spacing 👩‍🏫 Small Group Instruction • Ratio: 1 adult : 3 students (up to 12 students total) • Each group is led by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist Note: This program is educational and skill-based. The therapist is not acting as a child’s private OT. 🧠 What We Work On Using the Handwriting Without Tears® program plus curriculum developed by Ms. Jennell (@ot.umma), we target: ✏️ Problem letters ✏️ Spacing between letters within words ✏️ Spacing between words in sentences ✏️ Letter placement on wide-ruled and college-ruled paper 💪 Our Multi-Sensory Approach Each session begins with a sensorimotor obstacle course to help children: 🏃 Regulate their bodies 💪 Build strength needed for writing 🧠 Improve coordination and body awareness Children learn best through movement and hands-on experiences, so we incorporate multi-sensory learning into every session. 📅 Camp Schedule Wednesdays 📅 May 3 – June 6, 2026 ⏰ 8:15 – 9:15 AM • 6 sessions total • 1 session per week • 60 minutes each session 📍 Location 14471 Chambers Rd. #100 Tustin, CA 92780 🚀 Why This Camp? Our goal is to rebuild strong handwriting foundations so children can feel confident as they continue their academic journey. 💲 Tuition 💰 $49.95 per hour Pay the online $150 registration fee. Then, each hourly session will be $49.95. 💸 Ways to Save Refer a Friend (Upon their registration, you will receive $25 off). Yelp and Google Review: Leave an honest review and receive $10 off for each written. 📚 Materials Fee A mandatory $30 materials fee will be added. Please pay via venmo, zelle, or cash. 🔎 Required New Student Screener A mandatory 30-minute screener ($60) must be completed before camp begins for all new students. This helps ensure the camp is the right fit for your child. If the program is determined not to be an appropriate fit, your $150 deposit will be refunded minus the $60 screener fee.
