Service Description
This course is an introduction to academic based fine motor/visual motor skills like: - Uppercase Letter Formation - Lowercase Letter Formation - Pencil Grasp Development - Cutting with Scissors - Multi-Step Crafts Every activity is taught with a focus on a multi-sensory approach to learning, starting each session with a whole-body sensorimotor obstacle course! WHO: Appropriate for children (ages 3.5 to 6 years old) who are in school/daycare. - 1-3 Adults to 12 T.OTs per group. - Each group is run by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist. However, Jennell Chang is not operating as any one child's private OT. WHAT: An introduction to handwriting (starting with uppercase letter formation) using the Handwriting Without Tear's Kick Start to Kindergarten curriculum workbook. WHEN: COHORT A: 9/25/24 to 12/18/24 (Wednesday) || 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM (60 Mins) * NO SESSIONS during Thanksgiving Break (11/24/24 to 12/1/24). WHERE: New Office: Corner of Tustin Ranch Rd. & Walnut WHY: To set each child up for success by laying strong foundations as they blast off into their academic journey! Rate: $60 per hour. (3) Yelp and Google Business Review (Returning Parents Only): Inquire via hello@totfinemotor.com IMPORTANT: - Mandatory $30 materials fee. - Mandatory 30 minute screener ($55) after registration to determine if camps are an appropriate fit. - Ms. Jennell is an occupational therapist, but is not operating as any camper's private OT. - During emergent circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, illness/quarantine), classes may be held online.
Cancellation Policy
T.OT Camp bookings can be cancelled up until 5/1/25. Starting 5/1/25, camp deposits will be forfeited or can be applied to a future session/camp depending on the reason. For individual sessions, cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours, the $150 deposit paid will be forfeited. IMPORTANT: 1) Jennell Chang is a licensed/registered occupational therapist bringing OT strategies to all. She is not operating as anyone's private OT. 2. If emergent situations were to arise (e.g. natural disasters, Ms. Jennell falling ill/quarantining), distance learning (online classes) will be held. By continuing, you are agreeing to these terms.
