Service Description
DESCRIPTION: A 12 week (75 minutes) camp geared for our T.OTs (ages 3.5 - 6 years old) who have started their academic journey (e.g. a preschooler, transitional kindergartener, or kindergartener)! This course is an introduction to academic based fine motor/visual motor skills like: - Uppercase Letter Formation - Pencil Grasp Development - Cutting with Scissors - Multi-Step Crafts ** Every activity is taught with a focus on a multi-sensory approach to learning, starting each session with a whole-body, sensorimotor obstacle course! LOGISTICS: WHO: Appropriate for children (3.5 to 5.5 years old) who are in school. - 2 Adults to 6 T.OTs per group. - Each group is run by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist. WHAT: The next step in handwriting development (e.g. lowercase letters, sizing, and sentence writing) using the Handwriting Without Tear's curriculum workbook. WHEN: 6/14/23 to 7/28/23 (Wednesday and Fridays) || 1:15-2:30 PM ** NO SESSIONS during Fourth of July week! WHERE: 161 Fashion Lane #203, Tustin, CA 92780 WHY: To set each child up for success by laying strong foundations as they blast off into their academic journey! Rate: $50 per hour. Mandatory non-refundable $15 materials fee. IMPORTANT-- PLEASE READ: A mandatory 15 minute screener will be held prior to the start of the camp for $30. If the child is determined to be a good fit for the program, the money will be applied to the remaining cost of the program. If it is determined that this program may not be the right fit, and if no other programs available are appropriate at this time, then the $30 will be applied towards the individual consultation that will be provided after the screener for tips and strategies to work on at
Cancellation Policy
T.OT Camp bookings can be cancelled up until 9/1/23. Starting 9/1/23, camp deposit will be forfeited or can be applied to a future session/camp depending on the reason. For individual sessions, cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours, the $50 deposit paid will be forfeited.
