A 12-week, once-a-week HYBRID intensive for T.OTs (ages 6.5–12.5) ready to level up their writing!


We’ll dive into handwriting remediation, reading comprehension, and a fun intro to paragraph writing—all in an inclusive, supportive environment. Kids also build emotional regulation, social skills, sportsmanship, and frustration tolerance along the way!

Lowergrade Elementary:
Ages: 6.5 to 12.5 years old​

Prerequisites:

  • Enrolled in school / homeschooled

  • Must show behavioral readiness (e.g. able to follow multi-step directions).

  • Students will be screened to ensure this camp is an appropriate fit.
     

Ratio: 1 Adult to 5 T.OTS per Group (Max: 13 Students)
Groups led by a pediatric occupational therapist.
 

Rate: $49.95 per hour/class after registration deposit ($150)

Two payment plan options available:

  • Pay Up Front: $15 off via Zelle 

  • 3 Monthly Payments of $249.80 +2.9% Service Fee

Mandatory $30 Materials Fee

This course builds upon the foundations by focusing on academic based fine motor/visual motor skills like:
 

  • Handwriting remediation

  • Correcting sentence pragmatic errors
    (e.g. casing, spacing between words, anchoring letters on the line, and ending punctuations)

  • Reading Comprehension
    (e.g. highlighting text and using information to write)

  • Critical Writing: Intro to paragraph writing using info from text.

  • Pencil Grasp Strategies for atypical grasp formation (as needed)

  • Social Skills as it pertains to teamwork and frustration tolerance lessons

  • Neurodivergent Affirming Courses

Cohort A:

Time: 9:30 to 10:30 AM (60 Minutes)

Days: Saturday 

Dates: 1/24/26 to 4/18/26
 

Directions:

1. Register for camps & pay the $150 deposit to hold the spot.

2. I will contact you to schedule our mandatory 30 minute screener ($60).

  • If the camps are not deemed appropriate at this time, $60 of the $150 deposit will be refunded to cover the screener fee.

3. An invoice with the payment plan option selected will be presented on the day of the screener.

4. There is a 2.9% service fee for payments made via cc.

Jennell Chang is a licensed/registered occupational therapist who is bringing OT based strategies to all. However, she is not operating as anyone's private OT unless otherwise determined by an assessment with her.

In emergent situations (e.g. natural disasters, Jennell falling ill/quarantined, etc), camps MAY be held via online or rescheduled if possible.
