Head, shoulder, knees, and LIGAMENTS?! Come along and learn about how different parts of our bodies move, operate, and keep us alive! We’ll read and write about key facts that we learn each day, while minding our letter formation, sentence pragmatics, and other foundational writing skills!

STEM / PRAXIS ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Balloon Lungs

• Hand Muscles & Ligaments

• Food Spinal Cord

• Blood in a Bottle

• Human Body Craftivities

A non-refundable $15 materials fee will be collected prior to the start of camp.

Activities are subject to change depending on material availability. Children may not always bring activities home (e.g. science experiments, food art, etc).

9:10-9:20 AM: Morning Circle

9:30-10:00 AM: Sensorimotor Obstacle Course

10:00-11:00 AM: Writing Lesson of the Day

11:00-11:20 AM: Snack & Bathroom Break

11:20 AM - 12:15 PM: Activity of the Day

12:15-12:30 PM: Closing Yoga Poses

[12:30-1:15 PM: Extended PM Pick Ups ($25/Week)

** Intensive Camp Attendees (e.g. Asteroid &/or Comet Camp) will eat their lunch and engage in sensorimotor activities during this time.

Children Eligible: Pre-K/Kindergarteners to Second Graders
2 Adults to 6 Children
Run by a licensed/registered pediatric occupational therapist + 1 trained behavioral interventionist assistant
Who is this camp for?
Children who have been in school/a structured environment and is able to write at least some letters. Children need to show behavioral readiness (e.g. follow multi-step directions, stay in assigned area, etc) and is independent with toileting & self-feeding skills.
There will be a non-refundable $15 materials fee collected no later than the first day of camp.
Discontinuation of camp attendance may occur if child engages in self-directed behaviors that put themselves/others in danger.
