cursive camp
​A 12-week intensive camp (one time per week) geared for our 7 to 12 year old students who are ready for cursive. This camp will focus on first teaching lowercase formation in cursive as this is developmentally easier. Then, we will venture into uppercase letter formation!
This is especially great for campers whose motor pathways for print formation is showing difficulty with remediation.

​​Prerequisites:

Enrolled in school or homeschooled

Must show behavioral readiness (e.g. able to follow multi-step directions).

Must know how to write in print.
1-3 Adult to 12 T.OTS per Group.
Groups led by a licensed & registered occupational therapist
Hourly Rate: $47.50 after the initial deposit of $150 at registration

This course builds upon the foundations by focusing on academic based fine motor/visual motor skills like:

Cursive letter formation (using the Handwriting Without Tears book)

Strengthening muscles for a more refined pencil grasp

Writing a sentence "properly" (e.g. casing, spacing between words, anchoring letters on the line, and ending punctuations) in cursive

Dates: 1/23/25 to 4/17/25
Directions:
1. Register for camps & pay the $150 deposit to hold the spot.
2. I will contact you to schedule our mandatory 30 minute screener ($60). ​

If the camps are not deemed appropriate at this time, $60of the $150 deposit will be refunded to cover the screener fee.
3. An invoice with the payment plan option selected will be presented on the day of the screener.
4. There is a 3% service fee for payments made via cc.
